Many women experience continual sickness and don't feel like eating healthily. Misnamed "morning" sickness, the most common sign is nausea and it's usually worse on empty stomach. Surges in hormones and poor blood sugar balance can both contribute to pregnancy sickness. An optimal diet and supplement programme can help to regulate both. Try the following to ease it:
  1. Always eat breakfast, preferably containing some protein foods such as yogurt, eggs or protein powder smoothie.
  2. Avoid high-fat junk food containing a long list of additives and preservatives. Also, avoid refined and sugary foods.
  3.  Drink plenty of water between meals (1litre = 25kg of your bodyweight)
  4. Take a good multivitamin (Nutri Advanced is the best) containing a good level of all the B vitamins and zinc.
  5. Eat small meals and frequent snacks of fruit and seeds.
Research has shown that the better your diet was prior to conception the easier and smoother you will have the first 12 weeks.
